    A strong, flowing class that focuses on using the strength of deep core muscles to bring yoga postures to life. This perspective on yoga, developed by Sadie Nardini, will improve your strength and understanding of your practice--and your body. It is based on a deep connection to anatomy and movement and, while the practice is safe and accessible for all levels, its faster tempo benefits from some foundation in yoga. Expect a good workout.

    A moderate- to fast-paced, flowing class with a deep connection to breath linked with movement. Expect graceful movement and long-held postures. This class is appropriate for all levels. Modifications offered for beginners.

  • Gentle Yoga

    A softer, deep practice that focuses on alignment, breath and the inner experience of the practice. Expect a well-rounded class of forward folds, twists, backbends, standing postures and relaxation. You will leave centered, grounded and relaxed. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Great for beginners or those requiring a mindful, gentle practice.

  • Restorative Yoga

    Uses props (blankets, straps, bolsters) provided by the studio to support a softer, deeper practice focused on releasing tension. Much of the class is practiced on the floor, allowing gravity and a deep experience of breath and muscular release to facilitate deep relaxation. This style of yoga is a wonderful addition to a more activate practice or to counter and support athletic workouts. The long-held postures and deep releases help to restore and revitalize the body and quiet the mind. Appropriate for all levels.

    This type of yoga therapy is a structured program in which Theresa uses assisted yoga postures and dialogue to facilitate deep mind-body awareness. Phoenix Rising is especially powerful for anxiety, depression and emotional release. We offer 60-minute sessions. Theresa works with individuals and couples/partners. (Partner sessions are $150. Each partner must take an individual session before entering couple's therapy.)

(i.e.: continuing with a yoga practice while nursing a broken bone, managing symptoms of disease or medical treatment, etc. . .) These sessions are offered in our Roxborough studio or, with limited availability, in your home.

  • Postural Follow-up visit

    In this one-on-one session, Theresa will review your yoga program with you and assess any changes or issues that have arisen during your home practice.

  • Full Postural Assessment & Personal Yoga Program

    During this one-on-one session, Theresa will perform a complete postural assessment that includes a health and lifestyle history and an analysis of posture, structure, muscular imbalances, habits, restrictions and weaknesses. After the analysis, you will learn the specific yoga poses, stretches, strengthening maneuvers and release techniques to help you bring your body back into balance and relieve pain and instability. After the initial session, you will receive a personalized yoga program to follow at home.
